Further to earning a Registered Psychologist designation in Brazil (2011) and practising experience over the past 13 years, I am a Registered Counselling Therapist in Canada. I also have a master’s in Global Development Studies with my research focus is specific to resilience and gender-based violence. I am currently a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Additionally, I hold a postgraduate degree in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from the University of Sao Paulo (USP).
